Your views: Old Sinfin route best option for trams

Facebook

More interest in our tram route story on Facebook.

John Pendleton says: "There's a perfectly good train service from Derby to London already. Why would you want to ride the rickety tram for half an hour to get to Toton, wait for the high speed train and then be whisked off to London? You'd not save any time."

And Jed Bland posted: "If the existing transport facilities are clogged it would make more sense to use a tram or train round the Sheet Stores Sinfin line, which could serve the airport and the racetrack, especially with the spread of new housing estates to the south of Derby."
