Kayrun Nessa, who's 80, has lived in the UK for 16 years, after arriving on a visitor's visa. The Home Office says she must now return to Bangladesh.

Driver died after hitting 'Brexit' trailer

Derbyshire Police says a 41-year-old man from South Derbyshire died after his car crashed into a stationary 'Brexit' trailer that had been left in a lay-by. 

It happened yesterday morning at 8.40am on the A38 near Derby. 

Police believe the trailer was unattended and are investigating who put it there and why.

Third Queen's pool remains out of action

Gethyn Davies, project manager for Derby City Council, says the family pool at Queen's Leisure Centre is still a while away from being ready for use.

He said: "You can see birdcage scaffolding has been constructed across the pool itself and up to the underside of where the ceiling used to be. There's no roof whatsoever in that part of the building."

Man dies in A38 accident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died at the scene of an accident on the A38 near the Findern exit.

The 51-year-old man died was driving a Volkswagon Fox which was the only vehicle involved in the crash at about 08:40 yesterday.

Police closed parts of the city centre after the attack in Victoria Street in the early hours of Saturday.

The 23-year-old's injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.
