Khia Lewis-Todd

South Derbyshire MP Heather Wheeler said the government is looking at the school's funding formula to try to iron out some inequalities.

"Without a doubt Derbyshire and South Derbyshire are some of the lowest funded schools in the country and that's not right.

"It's not right that a school somewhere else in the country gets £5,000 per pupil and Hilton get £3,080 per pupil - it's not right."

The government is coming under increasing pressure to change or implement its changes to school funding.
