Used oil blamed for Malvern stream pollution

The cause of that is now believed to be "tens of litres" of either used lubricating or used hydraulic oil, the Environment Agency says.

The organisation has used booms and pads to block and soak up the oil in Whiteacres Brook.

A spokesperson says they don't believe it is causing any wider issues of water contamination.
