Hospital trust responds to inspection report

Louise Wheeler

BBC Local Live

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust have released a statement following a critical report from the Care Quality Commission.

Scunthorpe hospital was rated 'inadequate,' Grimsby 'requires improvement' and Goole was rated as 'good.'

The issue of staffing levels is raised in the reports. These are monitored very closely and, in common with other NHS organisations, we necessarily use agency, bank and locum staff to fill gaps in rotas.

Lawrence RobertsMedical Director

Very good to see Goole hospital rated as good by the CQC. The rating for Scunthorpe however is very concerning. Trust must act to address.
