Southern to 'cut 350 trains a day'

Southern is due to cut 350 trains - 15% of its service - according to the RMT union.

The company is locked in a bitter dispute with the RMT over the role of conductors, with services also crippled by high levels of staff sickness. 

Paul Cox from the RMT claims the worst is yet to come.

Children among suspected migrants found in lorry on M25

A group of suspected migrants were discovered in a lorry travelling on the M25 in Kent.

Two adults and three children were found in the back of the vehicle close to the Darenth interchange at Junction 2, police said. Read more on the story from the BBC here.
