Chiropractor secretly filmed women undressing

A chiropractor who filmed women undressing at his Kent practice has been jailed for four and a half years. Police say his actions left his victims feeling "violated, embarrassed and betrayed". 

Christopher Foley also admitted five offences of sexual assault at the practice in Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells, and possessing extreme pornography.

A woman who admitted sending disturbing Twitter messages to the mother of murdered toddler, James Bulger, has been jailed for three years.

Chloe Cowan, 20, from Margate, in Kent, pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress at an earlier hearing at Canterbury Crown Court.

She had posed as one of the toddler's killers and as his ghost in the tweets. Read the full BBC News story here.

Falconio Murder: Fresh appeal

Police in Australia are using the 15th anniversary of a Kent backpacker's murder to appeal to the public for information to help find his remains. 

Peter Falconio, 28, worked at Pfizer in Sandwich and disappeared on a remote outback highway north of Alice Springs in July 2001.

When six-year-old Abbie Mifsud from Ashford was diagnosed as having a brain tumour her parents' first question was how good was her chance of survival? They were braced to be told it was as low as 50/50.

But to their horror the doctor revealed their daughter had no chance and she did indeed die within months. Now they're campaigning to improve research into brain cancers.
