Two people and two children injured in crash

Two people, including a child, are in hospital with serious injuries after a two-car collision in Ashford.

It involved a Ford EcoSport and a black BMW 535d, and happened on the A20 at Mersham at 15:12 BST on 4 June.

A child who was travelling in the Ford is in a London hospital with head injuries, while a man in his thirties, a woman and a second child were treated for minor injuries.

The BMW driver, a man in his fifties, is in a local hospital with serious injuries.

The man and the child are both said to be in a stable condition.

Kent Police's summer drink and drug driving campaign is underway.

The force has warned it'll be carrying out roadside checks on drivers from now until the end of the month.

Motorists could be stopped at any time of day across the county but there'll be a focus on high-risk locations.

Officers are asking drivers not to get behind the wheel if they've had alcohol or are under the influence of controlled drugs.

Police investigating an assault on three men in Gravesham have released computer generated images of two people they'd like to speak to.

It happened outside a property in Hart Lane in Meopham on Friday 19 May.

After the alleged attack the suspects ran off toward Harvel Street.

It's believed they're aged between 23 and 25.

Network Rail has said that London Bridge railway station is open this morning - both for entry and exit.

The tube station is operating as normal. London Bridge itself and nearby roads have reopened earlier than expected, because the police were able to remove the cordon sooner than they had previously thought.

Police investigating Saturday night's terror attack in London say they know the identity of the three attackers who killed seven people and injured 48.

The Metropolitan Police said their names would be released "as soon as operationally possible".

A van hit pedestrians on London Bridge at 21:58 BST on Saturday before the men stabbed a number of people in Borough Market. They were shot dead by police. Full story here.
