Good evening

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Leeds
Rex Features

A draw that feels like a loss, and it's come about from a needless challenge by Giuseppe Bellusci, who will have better weeks.

You can listen to our post-match interview with Steve Evans here.

We'll be back on Saturday for the game against Burnley, which is an early kick-off. Until then, thank you very much for joining us, and goodnight!

More from Evans

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Steve Evans

"Bailey Peacock-Farrell will play many more games for Leeds United," Steve Evans said.

"I protect all my players. Giuseppe obviously gives the penalty away with a rash challenge and it's disappointing for all of us.

"Sol Bamba was in contention to play tonight but he wasn't feeling 100% so I made it an easy decision to play Giuseppe.

"I thought he was outstanding in Rotherham up until the 90th minute and I thought he was very good tonight. It was a sloppy, individual mistake that we need to stop because these errors are costing us points.

"It's hard to take."

Steve Evans on tonight's draw

Leeds 1-1 QPR

"You only need to look at the way Chris Wood was in the first half to see he's back to his old self," Steve Evans told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Luke Murphy's pass was fantastic and Chris has managed to send it in. I've just said to the players, that should see us over the line.

"I think the performance was good but the supporters will go away hugely disappointed, as will I."

@WYSdaily #lufc Performance tonight still not good enough. Some players don't have the desire to be winners. Changes needed for next season.

@WYSdaily Evans subs killed us again always takes Murphy/ Dallas off poor decisions!!! Positives wood back fit and BPF

Neil Redfearn on Peacock-Farrell

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Neil Redfearn has been covvring the Huddersfield Town game for BBC Radio Leeds, but he had some thoughts about Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who was at the Academy when Redfearn was manager.

"It's really tremendous to see him performing," he said. "He has this real attitude to want to do well and be successful.

"He's come through a scholarship, learnt the game well and he has a real level-headedness about it.

"It's great news for Leeds United to see him join the names of young players that have come through."

Leeds 1-1 QPR

@WYSdaily I hope for Steve Evans sake that Murphy went off due to knock as Murphy was bossing midfield (again).

@WYSdaily Farrell's distribution was much better than Silvestres, even heard him talking to the defenders.. Yes TALKING!

Noel on QPR

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Noel Whelan

Ex-Leeds United striker

You can see that QPR, on both wings, have quality but they struggle to score.

They struggle for the quality in the box and scoring goals wins you games.

Neither side gets the goal that wins the game. When we conceded that penalty we went in to our shells and I worry that if they had conceded the goal first they would have lost.

Negative team selection ready to defend a 1-0...at home!! Why no Botaka on the bench, wood simply not good enough @WYSdaily

@WYSdaily It hurts me saying that we are a long way from promotion contenders next season. I think we need 8 players. 56 million maybe

More from Noel

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Noel Whelan

Ex-Leeds United striker

We controlled the majority of the game and we were pushing for a goal.

I really don't think, without that penalty, that they would have scored a goal.

Same old, same old

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Popey on Bellusci

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Adam Pope

BBC West Yorkshire Sport

I can't defend him for that.

I've tried to see it differently but he cannot defend, and that is what he's there to do.

It's happened twice now, in crucial moments, where Leeds have needed him and he's let them down.

Leeds 1-1 QPR

@WYSdaily I would of started an ill Bamba rather than a fully fit Bellusci. We will not see games out with him as our CB #lufc

@WYSdaily Drop bellusci now!! He is costing us left right and centre!! Put Bamba n Cooper in the middle from now on. Bellusci should leave!

Noel on today's game

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Noel Whelan

Ex-Leeds United striker

Decision making and game management, that's what it comes down to.

All he had to do was shadow him so he can't cross into the box. I don't understand why people make these decisions knowing that contact will result in a penalty.

The decision making from Bellusci has cost Leeds United a win.

FULL TIME: LEEDS 1-1 QPR

Chris Wood
Rex Features

History repeats itself, as Giuseppe Bellusci brings about another penalty for the opposition, and it has exactly the same result.

Chris Wood's goal was the only difference in a fairly mundane game, before Bellusci brought down Sebastian Polter and Tjaron Chery slammed the penalty home. Three points down to one.

Thoughts, Leeds fans? Keep them clean and tweet us @wysdaily

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Close for Leeds, as Lewie Coyle hammers a fine shot straight into the arms of Alex Smithies. He was off-side but there was some great build up, thanks to Lewis Cook's fine run down the right.

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Giuseppe Bellusci is getting roundly booed by the Leeds fans. That penalty has taken all the scrap out of Leeds, and both sides are now just seeing it out.

Leeds 1-1 QPR

Mustapha Carayol comes off and Mirco Antenucci is on, as we set ourselves for three minutes of added time.

Leeds 1-1 QPR

On the penalty, it was Giuseppe Bellusci who brought down Sebastian Polter. It was a pretty needless challenge, Polter was nowhere near goal and wasn't driving towards it, and that's another error from Bellusci that's led to a penalty.

GOAL CHERY: Leeds 1-1 QPR

Tjaron Chery steps up, facing debutant Bailey Peacock-Farrell, and fires it into the top hand corner. The keeper had no chance of saving that but man. Twice in one week...

BreakingPENALTY QPR: Leeds 1-0 QPR

Well, it was going really well for about ten minutes, and now Leeds have done what they do and messed up a lead.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Another change for Leeds as Stuart Dallas, who was the stand-out of the first half, comes off and Lewie Coyle makes his way onto the pitch.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Nearly a second for Leeds as Mustapha Carayol sends a fine ball in but a great clearance from Gabriele Angella, right on the line, sees QPR wriggle out of danger around.

Leeds make their first chance, as Luke Murphy, who set up the goal with a fantastic ball, makes way for Toumani Diagouraga.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Third and final change for QPR, as Conor Washington makes way for Nasser El Khayati.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Conor Washington lashes the ball towards goal but it's well saved by Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who, just quietly, has had a pretty impressive debut so far.

@WYSdaily well done wood. This should help his confidence. Respect to noel for his positive points on wood

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Tjaron Chery goes for goal, but it hits into the wall and the second attempt is snatched up by Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

QPR make their second change as Tjaron Chery comes on for David Hoilett, and he's straight into the action to take a free kick.

Leeds 1-0 QPR

Looking at the replay, Alex Smithies got caught in two minds and didn't come forward, when he probably would have been able to smother Chris Wood's effort. A goal is a goal though, and it gives this game a much needed boost.

BreakingGOAL WOOD: Leeds 1-0 QPR

That's livened it up, as Chris Wood knocks in his ninth goal of the season!

Luke Murphy sends a great ball over the top and Wood peels away from two markers and slices the ball past Alex Smithies.

Great work from Murphy to tee up Wood so nicely - now to get the second...

Leeds 0-0 QPR

A break in play as David Hoilett, who has threatened the most for QPR, goes down after a collision with Giuseppe Bellusci.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

QPR win a corner that Sebastian Polter just nudges wide of goal, despite a good connection.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

A late tackle from Gaetano Berardi ends another effort from David Hoilett. QPR look more confident going for goal in this half, they've got an energy boost from somewhere, but Leeds' defence is holding up well.

@KatherineLeeds @WACCOE @garethjones25 is it theoretically possible to hear paint drying?

Leeds 0-0 QPR

Gaetano Berardi is called into action as he blocks successive efforts from Matt Phillips and James Perch.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

Stuart Dallas has his hands on his head as he picks up a lovely ball from Mustapha Carayol and spoons it wide of the goal. He really needed to do better with such a good delivery.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

That's a chance for Leeds as Luke Murphy picks up Lewis Cook's cross and smashes it straight at Alex Smithies. Good build-up from Leeds but, as the cliche goes, it's the goals that count.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

QPR look to have a bit more energy going forward, but Liam Cooper does well to end David Holiett's run.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

Leeds 0-0 QPR

Lewis Cook works it through to Stuart Dallas, who threads through to a goal-bound Chris Wood before the linesman raises the flag for offside.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

Leeds win themselves an early corner through a Stuart Dallas volley, that comes sailing in to the back post seconds before Giuseppe Bellusci arrives there.

Leeds 0-0 QPR

We're back underway at Elland Road, with both sides unchanged but hopefully having been giving an energy boost during the half-time talks.
