A 19 year old has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving in a hit-and-run crash in Leicester. 

Reece Webster, of Wensley Rise, Leicester, appeared at the city's magistrates court via video link. 

He didn't enter a plea and was remanded in custody.

From 06:00 every morning Leicester's street teams are out cleaning, but imagine how they coped on Sunday morning after it seemed the whole of Leicester was having a party?

Normally they clear up 1.5 tonnes in a weekend but this weekend they collected 5.6 tonnes – mostly on Sunday – costing £2,500 extra.
