MP blasts university as 'appalling' over closure

Leicester South MP Jon Ashworth has said the attitude of the university towards the Vaughan Centre has been "appalling".

"The attitude of the University of Leicester in closing this when you could hear the stories from students about how important this centre is appalling."

John Ashworth
BBC

The University has said it is writing to current students as "a matter of priority" and won't comment further whilst a formal consultation takes place.
