Well we've certainly had some bizarre weather today across the county, so I'm going to stick on all my layers as I leave the office just in case.

Renewed appeal over serious assault in Boston

Police have issued new CCTV images of people they want to interview about an assault in February.

A 26-year-old victim was left with serious injuries to his jaw and bruises and abrasions when he was attacked outside Boots at the taxi rank.

Plans for Lincoln's first 'Death Café' unveiled

St Barnabas Hospice has unveiled their plans to host the city's first "Death Café" where members of the public can gather to eat cake, drink tea and yes, discuss death.

It's going to be held at The Angel Coffee House on Free School Lane on Sunday, 15 May. The event aims to stimulate conversation about the end of life.

Man exposed himself to woman at Boston

Police say they're investigating a case of indecent exposure in Boston's Central Park.

A man exposed himself to a woman at around 09:00 this morning. 

He is  white, aged 45-55, bald, and was wearing a dark coat.

Six arrested after kiosk burglary in Bourne

A tobacco kiosk in a Co-op in Bourne was targeted by thieves on Monday night.

Police say they have arrested five men and one woman in the West Midlands area in connection with the offence. 

They're currently at Grantham police station being interviewed by officers.

There's been an accident on the A17 in Fulbeck, there's slow traffic in both directions near the South Heath Lane junction.

Spate of bike thefts in North East Lincolnshire

Police are asking people to make sure bikes and motorbikes are safely stored after a spate of robberies in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. 

There's been 19 reported incidents between the 4-17 April, most taking place overnight.

It's believed the thieves are being selective in their targets, in the majority of cases only high-value pedal cycles are being taken and other items are being left untouched 

Steep rise in alcoholic liver diseases in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

You're being warned about a rise in cases of liver disease especially among women. 

The latest figures say they've increased by as much as 125%.

The Director of Public Health in Lincolnshire Tony Hill says too many patients are putting themselves at risk because of excess alcohol and food consumption:   

Liver disease is the only serious disease which causes early deaths that is still growing. The two main things are whether you drink to excess and if you're overweight.

The 20-year-old from Scunthorpe who died after his car came off the road in Scotter has been named as Ryan James Bolt.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at about 16:00 yesterday.

Ahead of their big game today BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Breakfast Show asked me to do a quick rundown of some of the players Lincoln United will be fielding against Shaw Lane Aquaforce.

Sadly I'm hopeless when it comes to football so I decided to take a look at what some of them do for a day job.

Tools stolen from Holton Le Clay

Police are appealing for witnesses to a commercial burglary on Nickerson Way.

Last night thieves broke into a property and stole an angle grinder and a cordless drill. 

Police want anyone with information to come forward.

'Not every' Lincolnshire junior doctor on the picket line

Lot's of doctors up and down the country have walked out today but not all of them.

We've obtained figures showing that 149 junior doctors in Lincolnshire did go to work as normal today out of a total of 310.

Yesterday 149 turned up out of 310.

He (Jeremy Hunt) could have said we won't impose this unsafe contract, we'll get back round the negotiating table and that's really all we're trying to do, start talking."

Scunthorpe man dies after crashing into tree

A 20-year-old man has died after a road accident in Scotter yesterday.

He was travelling towards Kirton Lindsey when his silver Ford Fiesta left the Kirton Road and hit a tree.

It happened about 16:00 last night and police want to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident. 

Second day of the all-out junior doctors' strike

As hospitals hope patients "stay away" junior doctors up and down the country are on strike in the latest stage of the bitter dispute over new contracts.

At its height yesterday around 40 people were on the picket line, we'll have to wait and see if they can get a similar number today.

Liquorpond street in Boston is partially blocked with slow traffic heading south at the A16 Spalding road junction because of an accident.

The A151 in Bourne remains closed in both directions at the Church Lane junction after a lorry crashed into a ditch earlier this morning.
