A 15-year-old boy was riding his bike through Everton Park on 10 June when a man who was holding a knife jumped in front of him and told him to get off.

The boy was uninjured. Police are appealing for witnesses.

Motorcycle stolen in Essex seized by Merseyside Police

A stolen motorcycle has been seized by police in Kirkby after it went missing more than 200 miles away in Essex.

A man has been charged after a 70-year-old man was stabbed in Liverpool city centre.

The man was attacked in Renshaw Street on Monday and is in a stable condition in hospital following surgery.

 A 55-year-old man, from Gateacre, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He is due to appear at Liverpool and Knowsley Adult Remand Court later.
