Pair remanded after man's stab death

Two men have been remanded in custody after being charged with murdering a man in Nottingham 

Junaid Farrukh, 21, from Derby, and 18-year-old Mohamud Alasow, from Nottingham, appeared before magistrates today following the death of Aqib Mazhar, who was stabbed to death in Forest Fields on Wednesday.

The two men are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow.

Pensioner conned into buying 'memory foam' mattress

Trading Standards has described an incident in which a Nottinghamshire pensioner was scammed into buying a poor quality mattress by two men outside her home as "disgusting".
