Khia Lewis-Todd

BBC Local Live

I was a little baffled as to why today's storm is called "Doris".

Well, it seems "Doris" was voted for by the public as part of the Met Office's "Name Our Storms pilot scheme" - which helped compile the list of storm names for 2016 to 2017.

Inspectors said they found staff cared for patients with "compassion, patience and kindness," but highlighted issues with overcrowding and unrelenting pressure.

He said he was prompted to ask the question after a lengthy debate with a friend from Banbury about how many young people there were in the county, and said he "was intrigued to see what our population looks like in regards to age".

It's taken me a day of going through a lot of figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS), but I have found the average age of someone from Nottinghamshire is 41.5 years.

These figures are from 2015. The ones for 2016 won't be available until later this year.
