That's all from us here on the Scotland Live team for the evening - thank you for your time and your company throughout.
The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony party has come to an end with a fine display of fireworks over Hampden Park on the south side of the city.
Glasgow and its citizens did the Commonwealth proud - and it's easy to see why.
The people staged a magnificent 12 days of culture, entertainment - and, above all, world-class sport.
The friendly city hosted the Friendly Games - arguably one of the best ever staged - and welcomed people from all across the globe, demonstrating that the pursuit of sporting excellence remains a noble one.Everyone will take away their own special memories; from the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt in the men's 4x100m relay, to 13-year-old Erraid Davies from Shetland who won bronze in the SB9 100m breaststroke final.
All of the athletes who participated in the Games will inspire an entire generation of Scottish youngsters to get out there and pursue their sporting dreams.
It's exactly 1,340 days until the next Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast in Australia.
See you there.
