  1. It's number three. The first is Lord Mountbatten, uncle of Prince Philip, the second is Edward VIII, who abdicated from the throne, and the fourth is Stanley Baldwin, who was prime minister at the time of the abdication.
  2. It was Eric Cantona. The Cosmos, a former powerhouse in the now-defunct North American Soccer League (NASL), relaunched last August. Gervais drew gasps from Hollywood for his irreverent turn as host. George bought the icon from a London art dealer in 1985 without knowing its origin.

  5. It's footballer. Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle, who is chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association, was unveiled as a panellist - the first full-time soccer player thus honoured.
  6. It's England's national curriculum for secondary pupils. Education Secretary Michael Gove pledged to cut down the document.
  7. He's third eldest, younger than Howard Donald and Jason Orange, but older than Mark Owen and Robbie Williams.
