Fay Jones regained Brecon and Radnorshire for the Conservatives - ending Lib Dem Jane Dodds's Westminster career after just four months.

The new MP is pictured here with her mother Linda and father Gwilym Jones, the former MP for Cardiff North.

He said he was "absolutely delighted" that his daughter had been elected.
