Mountains measured: Surveyors reclassify UK hills

Help

A group of amateur surveyors has been climbing and re-measuring some of Britain's highest peaks, to see if they are high enough to be called mountains.

Already two mountains have been reclassified while the north Wales mountain, Tal y Fan in Snowdonia, is the latest to be measured to see if it should be downgraded to a hill.

Graham Satchell reports.
