Generation of Ash trees could die in a decade

The Forestry Commission has warned that a whole generation of ash trees will die with the unstoppable spread of the ash dieback disease.

The first cases of the fungus were confirmed in Norfolk last October and 183 further cases have been found in South-west Wales, Eastern Scotland and South East England.
