Will nuclear energy solve the shortage crisis?

In a BBC poll, 25% of people surveyed said that they face 'unacceptably cold temperatures' as they cannot afford to heat their homes.

Many are looking towards nuclear energy to provide solutions to energy shortages and rising prices.

There are concerns over safety and funding nuclear plants but energy companies say the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Sarah Ransome visited a nuclear plant in Somerset.
