Power line diverters fitted to save 'large birds'

Over the next few weeks, tens of thousands of swans and geese will arrive in the UK, as they attempt to escape the Arctic cold.

Their journey is full of dangers, but one of the biggest is the risk of flying into power lines.

A new research project is attempting to tackle the problem.

John Maguire reports.
