US scientists have discovered a new species of dinosaur, nicknamed the 'Chicken from Hell.'

The Anzu wyliei is a strange, bird-like creature with an "enormous" beak and long tail like a lizard.

It was identified from the partial remains of three skeletons collected in North and South Dakota.

Professor Hans Seus, who studied some of the fossils at the Smithsonian National Museum in Washington DC, told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire: "It's really a rather odd looking creature - even by dinosaur standards."
