Tackling the online trolls

For many people, the internet is a way of staying in touch or a forum for posting opinions, but it is also used as a tool to bully and threaten.

So-called trolls have been the focus of media attention recently, after several people in the public eye were sent threats on Twitter.

John Maguire has been to meet Andy Trotter, the head of the media advisory group at the Association of Chief Police Officers to find out how the police are tackling this problem.
