Lava lamp company Mathmos celebrates 50 years of hot wax

The company that invented a device which lit up the swinging sixties is celebrating 50 years of the lava lamp.

Former naturist camp owner Edward Craven Walker invented the lamp and his company Mathmos still makes them to this day in Poole, in Dorset. Zoe Kleinman reports.
