Bangalore: India's Silicon valley

The Indian economy may be going through a rough time - with interest rates, inflation and food prices on the rise - but in the world of technology, India is still regarded as a global leader.

Indian firms are among the top IT service businesses. But the country wants to be known for more than just out-sourcing its computing skills.

Shilpa Kannan reports from Bangalore, the country's technology hub.
