Typhoon Haiyan: Satellite images help aid effort

Satellite images of the Philippines before and after the arrival of Typhoon Haiyan are being used to help the aid effort.

The Tomnod website asks users to identify damaged roads, bridges and buildings and this information is then passed on to aid workers and army personnel.
