Body of UK man pulled from harbour in Majorca
The body of a British man has been pulled from a harbour in Majorca after a suspected accident.
Clive Graeme Cadwell, 52, was found floating in Alcudia on Tuesday lunchtime off the northern coast.
Police believe he fell from a boat on which he was working, shortly after drinking in a bar.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has confirmed the death and said it was providing consular assistance to his family. It is unclear where he lived.
A senior officer officer from Majorca's paramilitary civil guard said: "We will have to wait for the results of an autopsy, but everything points towards this being an accident.
"We are not treating it as being suspicious."
Mr Cadwell was born in Hythe, but it is unclear whether that was Hythe in Hants or Kent.
An FCO spokesperson said: "We can confirm the death of a British national in Alcudia, Mallorca. We were notified of his death on 16 November 2010."
