Spam text sim cards blocked by officials

Tens of thousands of sim cards used to send spam text messages have been blocked by government officials.

New powers have been given to the Information Commissioner's Office, or ICO, to help it tackle the problem.

And now it has started carrying out raids on premises where it thinks spam texts are being sent from.
