We asked for your Olympic moments, inspired by the Games. Bryn Beach sent this pic of young Olympic canoe slalom hopefuls going for a 'dry run' - with a little helping hand.
More canoeing, this time on the water! After watching the Olympics, Jacob (12) and India (8) wanted to try kayaking. Father Mark (also pictured) says his son is now hooked on the sport.
Reece Harvey, from Belfast, in training for the 2016 Rio Olympics, we're told!
Could Eloise and Chloe Jackson be future medallists in synchronised swimming? As twins they should have excellent togetherness.
Britain's most successful Olympian Bradley 'Wiggo' Wiggins is definitely inspiring a generation - just check out the sideburns on this young fan.
Watch out Wiggo, a certain Paul Merrick is coming to get you!
The Olympic motto of "citius, altius, fortius" is displayed at the Burnett family's "Olympicnic" which was held the first weekend of the Games.
Inspired by Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield, these young ladies pull off a brilliant synchronised backward dive. Great marks for style and execution.
In a topical picture ahead of the men's 100m final, Angela McCormick Tweeted: "My 3 week old son woke up in this position! Bolt's youngest fan maybe?!"
Meanwhile Vicki Lewis on Twitter says this little one "wants to be the next Phelps".
Alice and Harry Goddard fancy themselves as future mixed doubles champions. They certainly look the part.
Joseph Lodge (2 years and 3 months), from Whitley Bay displays a natural talent for hockey. Excellent stick-handling skills, young man.
Zachary Scott, 11, from Cumbria already takes part in judo so he was thrilled to meet Olympic judo competitor and the heaviest man at the Games Ricardo Blas Jnr from Guam. Here they are at Blas's pre-Games training camp in Kendal.
And at the end of the action: the medals. Philippa Helliwell says these three were "Going for gold in Gloucestershire!"
