Police in Birmingham try crime prediction technology

Police in Birmingham are trialling technology which they hope will predict where crimes will happen.
In a city where there were 8,000 burglaries last year, West Midland Police are making use of technology that recognises burglary 'hot-spots' and works on the idea that criminals follow patterns.
