A former boxer who set up his own gym has been awarded an MBE for his work with young people and boxing.

Glyn Rhodes opened the gym and social club in 1994, after retiring from the sport.

He told BBC Breakfast that the 2012 Olympics, and Nicola Adams' victory in particular, had sparked a rise in the number of women taking up boxing.
