Crash pilot will be 'deeply missed' says former colleague

Help

Broadcaster Ingrid Hagemann, a former colleague of Captain Pete Barnes, who was killed when his helicopter crashed into a crane in central London, has paid tribute to a ''magnificent guy''.

Mr Barnes, from Reading, had asked to be diverted to a nearby heliport because of bad weather on Wednesday morning.

The second fatality was a person on the ground. 13 people were injured.
