PMQs 'to be cancelled' for Margaret Thatcher funeral

Prime Minister's Questions could be cancelled on the day of Baroness Thatcher's funeral so MPs can attend.

Leader of the House of Commons Andrew Lansley has tabled a motion to delay proceedings in the Commons until 14:30 BST on Wednesday.

It is expected to be passed when MPs return to Westminster from their Easter break on Monday.

Earlier, Deputy PM Nick Clegg suggested it would be "a bit odd" to go ahead with PMQs on the day of the funeral.
