Plane diverted to Glasgow Prestwick Airport after 'problem'

More than 300 passengers have been escorted off an Egypt Air plane which made an emergency landing at Prestwick airport in Ayrshire.

The plane, flying from Cairo to New York, was forced to land by two RAF fighter jets after cabin crew were handed a note threatening to "set the plane on fire".

Nada Tawfi, a BBC producer who was on board the plane, said the passengers are waiting to be questioned.
