Cumbria bridge jumpers ignore 'tombstoning' warnings

10 July 2013 Last updated at 10:13 BST

Hot weather has brought thrill-seeking youths back to Devil's Bridge in Kirby Lonsdale to risk jumping into the water below, despite the death of a young man in 2012 and warnings from the police.

The daring plunge into the River Lune is popular during hot weather but the risks are high and the remote Cumbria location means emergency services cannot easily reach the scene if accidents happen.

Andy Gill reports.
