Detectives searching for a 13-year-old girl missing from home for nearly a week have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of child abduction.

The man was arrested in Bradford, West Yorkshire, by police involved in the search for Erika Kacicova, from Sheffield.

A 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of child abduction has been bailed.

Kelly Mills, a pastoral care worker at Erika's school in Sheffield, made a direct appeal to Erika to hand herself in to police.

''We are really worried about you...you are not in any trouble,'' she said.
