We are owed apology, says Daily Mail

As Ed Miliband urges the owner of the Mail newspapers to examine what he called their "culture and practices", a senior figure at the Daily Mail says some in the Labour Party need to apologise to the paper.

The stand-off between Mr Miliband and the Daily Mail began after the paper published an article that labelled the Labour leader's father Ralph Miliband as "the man who hated Britain".
