9 October 2013 Last updated at 17:26 BST

A passenger, who was forced to take over a light aircraft when its pilot fell sick, has described the moment he landed the plane.

John Wildey said he "hadn't a clue" how to conduct an emergency landing and had to be guided by air traffic controllers on the ground at Humberside airport.

He told the BBC: "I thought 'I ain't going to do it', but we managed to stop in the end."
