Fatal row at 'Afghan Sandhurst'

27 October 2013 Last updated at 13:42 GMT

An Afghan soldier has been shot dead and three Nato colleagues wounded in a dispute at a British-run officer training academy near Kabul.

The Afghan National Army Officer Academy - dubbed Sandhurst in the Sand - only opened last week.

Afghan government sources said the Afghan had fired a shot in a row with his colleagues, who returned fire.

David Loyn reports from Kabul.
