The Met Office has issued a yellow alert ahead of heavy rain and wind on Monday, as efforts to clear up damage caused by Christmas storms continue.

The South West of England, Wales and Scotland will be the worst affected.

Meanwhile, energy firms say some of the 3,000 properties still without electricity after the last storms will be without power until next week.

Daniela Relph reports.
