Somerset: Flooded area 'like giant bathtub'

Dozens of flood warnings remain in place across the UK with the Environment Agency saying that many areas could remain at risk for several days.

The village of Burrow Bridge in Somerset is like many in the south-west of England where the ground has been saturated by the rain.

Geographer Simon Ross explains why the water levels are rising there.
