The Metropolitan Police have expressed sympathy for Mark Duggan's family after a jury into the inquest of his death found he was killed lawfully.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley struggled to be heard as crowds shouted over him outside the Royal Courts of Justice.

"I will be offering to meet Mark Duggan's family to express our sorrow and we will continue working with local communities to strengthen relationships," he said.
