Romanian migrant's struggle in UK

28 February 2014 Last updated at 10:02 GMT

From Saturday, EU migrants will need to show they have earned at least £150 a week for three months before they can claim benefits in the UK.

Net UK migration increased to 212,000 in the year to September 2013, pushing it further over the Conservatives' target of below 100,000, according to official estimates.

The BBC's Graham Satchell went to meet one Romanian worker who arrived in the UK after Christmas.
