Operation Elveden police make arrest
A 42-year-old woman has been arrested by police investigating corrupt payments to public officials.
Scotland Yard said the woman - a former public official - was held in south London on Friday on suspicion of committing misconduct in public office.
A 37-year-old man was arrested at the same address on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs.
Both have been taken to a police station in London and remained in custody late on Friday morning.
The arrests are part of Operation Elveden - Scotland Yard's investigation into claims public officials were paid by journalists for information.
It is operating alongside two other inquiries.
Operation Weeting is the investigation into alleged phone hacking and Operation Tuleta is probing allegations of computer hacking and other privacy breaches.
