David Cameron recalls World Cup bid process

The Prime Minister David Cameron has reflected on the failed attempt to host the 2018 World Cup saying the bidding process was "like no other election"

The Sunday Times reported that millions of pounds was paid to Fifa delegates who supported Qatar's bid, prompting an investigation.

David Cameron was among those who lobbied for the UK to host the 2018 World Cup alongside David Beckham and Prince William.
