Hallsands residents meet flood minister Oliver Letwin

19 June 2014 Last updated at 14:14 BST

Residents living in a storm-hit village have met with the flood recovery minister to argue the case for their sea defences to be maintained.

Powerful waves and high tides that hit the coast in the February storms battered defences in the communities of Beesands and Hallsands, in Devon.

But while defences are being rebuilt at Beesands, Hallsands has been designated for no intervention.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
