Female Archbishop of Canterbury 'would delight' Justin Welby

The Archbishop of Canterbury has encouraged the Church of England's General Synod to vote to introduce women bishops.

The Most Rev Justin Welby told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show that he hoped there would be a female bishop appointed by early 2015.
