A major police search is under way for a five-year old boy with a brain tumour - who was taken from hospital by his parents, without doctors' approval.

There are serious concerns for the life of Ashya King, who needs constant medical care.

His parents removed him from Southampton General Hospital on Thursday and Hampshire Police believe he has been taken to France.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
