Digital switchover dates for Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex

Dates for the digital TV switchover have been announced for Norfolk, Suffolk and parts of Essex.

The analogue signal will be switched off across the counties in 2011.

BBC2's analogue signal will go on 6 July 2011 when it stops being transmitted from Sudbury. From then, only viewers with a digi-box will be able to watch it.

Two weeks later, the analogue signals of BBC1, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 will be switched off.

The Tacolneston transmitter will stop putting out the BBC 2 signal on 9 November and the other four channels will disappear for good on 23 November.
